Contingent upon the granting of limited powers of free conference, we agree to the following amendment: Page 1, line 9, following "assistance": Insert "whenever they are eligible for coverage under 42 USC 1396a(a)(10)(A)(ii)(XVIII) if they apply for the assistance before the date that is two years after the effective date of this Act," Page 2, line 30: Delete all material. The question being: "Shall the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 65 "An Act relating to a new optional group of persons eligible for medical assistance who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer; and providing for an effective date"?" Senator Leman moved the effective date clause. The question being: "Shall the effective date clause be adopted?"
